Our Office

When you visit the RCC, staff will bring you to a waiting area and offer you a guided tour. Each room is designed to make your time with us as comfortable as possible.

Waiting Areas: Comfortable chairs and couches offer places to relax or connect with support staff before, during and after the interview or appointment. Snacks, Wi-Fi, toys, books, movies and video games can help pass the time. If it would be comforting, we can arrange a visit by a trained, emotional support, service dog. Call us before your appointment.

Interview Room: This calm space is where your child talks one-on-one with a forensic interviewer about what happened. There are toys, chairs and couches to fit children or adults. To keep the interview free from distractions, a mirror wall screens the room where professionals may watch the interview. Inconspicuous video camera outlets in the ceiling allow each session to be taped.

Observation Room: Next door to the Interview Room, professionals who are part of the investigative team can watch and videotape the interview without being seen in the Interview Room.

Medical Exam Room: allows for an on-site forensic examination by trained professionals, day or night, when needed to collect evidence for an investigation.
