Redwood Children's Center

The Redwood Children’s Center (RCC) is a welcoming place, where children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities can be interviewed about allegations of physical or sexual abuse or domestic violence. The professionals you’ll meet here want to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Interviews about what happened are done by caring, specially trained staff. Interview videotapes can be shared with other professionals involved in the investigation, reducing the need for multiple interviews and lowering the possibility of added trauma. In some cases, a video interview can be used in court in place of a child’s in-person testimony.

RCC advocates also help visitors connect to other supportive community agencies, some located in the Family Justice Center, downstairs from the RCC. Having many resources in one place makes it easier to get the support you need.

Please read through these pages to learn more about how RCC can support you.
